Heyy guys...how's your break so far? I just wanted to throw out there how long it took the people of ember so long to realize they were underground. Wouldn't they have figured it out?
Hey Group Three! It's me, Mrs. Daly! Hope you're all having a nice break. Good job Alyssa on blogging early on! It's a good question Alyssa poses. But I think it's more important to look at WHY they didn't realize they were underground. I mean the world above them didn't even exist in their minds AT ALL. They just thought they had a light problem. Do you think there's anything in our world that we are clueless about? Could you ever find the courage that Lina and Doon did to explore the "unknown"? It's an interesting concept! Anyway, hope you're all reading over break! Stay warm!!
Hey guys, I think the people of Ember did realize they weren't the only place out there, but none of the people in the city were brave enough to explore the outside world. Until Doon and Lina came along.
HI guys! sorry i got to you so late. i think the builders were not the last people to know of the instructions. i think they told the mayor's family about it but if i think the mayor didn't want to tell anyone because of what eric said-fear. the fear blinded his judgement and that way no one knew!
Hey guys I agree with u Niko.....but I think they also wanted people to stay in ember....and if people found out..they would blame it on the mayor and the builders and they would probally go on strike...I would be mad if I found out I was underground!!!!!!!
hi again! Alyssa, i agree with you. i seriosly would try to track down the builders and make them bring the people back to the surface! i have a question thoagh. what happened above ground making people to be forced underground? maybe one of you guys have the answer.
Hey guys. I think the people of ember were once above ground, but then something bad happened and they were forced underground. Got any ideas on what that couldl've been?
