I was wondering, do you think DomDaniel will return in the sequel? Also I think that Boy 412 was a little bit of a suspect of being Septimus Heap before that was clarified. Magdalena
I do think that DomDaniel will return because it seemed like he was one of Marcia's biggest problems so they will probably have him return. Also, I agree about Boy 412. It doesn't seem like they would've mentioned him at all unless he was Septimus, because he really didn't contribute to the plot very much. ~Molly

Ya I probably think that he will return with a new apprentice because he kinda killed his old one. And the apprentice was a big help so he will probably want to get a new one for spying and such. Magdalena
Well usually science fiction isn't my favorite genre because it was a bit boring for me. I honestly don't think I'll keep reading the series because I didn't really like it....Hope everyone has a good break. ~ Molly
Molly I totally understand why you wouldn't want to continue the series if you didn't like the first book. However, I hope this hasn't discouraged you from trying science fiction again! I'll think of a few outstanding titles you could read when you get back from break! Trust me, it took me a while to like science fiction as well, but once you do...it makes reading a lot of fun!! :)
Yo It's Alex. I think that Magyk on a scale of one to 10 was a 7. I think that the author put details everywhere, but maybe a little to much. In some parts, it gets boring because of all of the time wasted just reading details and details about one thing. The world that the author created for his readers was very imaginitive and nice. It really got my attention and made some parts interesting. If I could change one thing about this book it would be to make it simplier and more fast-paced so so the reader will not get confused. The story was very long, but that just meant that there was more book to love. It always made you eager to read more of the story because the plot is so intriguing and you always will want to know what is going to happen next. After reading this science fiction book I would have to say that just the fun of it all would make me want to read more. I hope that eveybody has a wonderful day

I actually really liked the details- because that's just the type of person I am! However I didn't like the book mainly because I thought it was just boring! There were a few action parts which i liked, however it just took up too much space of pointless text I think at least. I won't read the rest of the series, however maybe I'll try a different type of Sci-Fi and see if I enjoy that more, because I don't want to give up a whole genre for one book. ~Molly

The author just tried to get you off track on figuring out who it was so we would be completely suprised when we found out it was boy 412, that's just what I think. But I thought it was a good thing the author did because it kept me thinking and kept making me read more.

I totally agree with everybody!! I'd like to throw something else out there, though. Throughout the whole book Aunt Zelda seemed to have the closest bond with Boy 412... why was that?? Also, who do you think was the most surprised that boy 412 was Septimous Heap- personally I think Boy 412 was the most surprised himself!!!! Him or Marcia, that is. ~Molly
I think that the bond between Aunt Zelda and boy 412 was so amazing because it mentioned that in the story that Aunt Zelda always liked to nurse sick animals back to health. I think that Aunt Zelda thought of this as a bigger challenge so she took it on without a thought. Because Aunt Zelda was so nice to him, their friendship began to grow and flourish with love. yooooo Molly i <3 your short story. im doing a drawing. in the picture im going to draw there is going to be a girl from Nova Scotia. her name is Esmonza. i like that name. any way... out of the corner of her eye she sees 3 girls smiling and laughing at her 'cause she doesnt fit in. what do you guys think???? i think its gonna be sort of challenging for me because... i have to draw all neat and stuff. and there are some things i don't know how to draw. like the eye, i can do, but i can't figure out how to draw a mouth. heeeeyyyyy... what is your poem about Julia??? and Molly whats yours about??? i know already but other people don't. hey who do you guys think stole the cakes. i think its either Butch or Ms. Bracewell. yea.. well i wrote a lot so bye??? i guess... :D **laura**
